The Florida Storytelling Festival is returning to Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora, Florida. This nationally recognized event celebrates storytelling, community, and creativity. How to Get Involved

The Florida Storytelling Association hosts the festival, and it’s not free. However, there are several ways you can participate or support the event. You can:

Share Your Story

At the Florida Storytelling Festival, attendees are encouraged to tell their own stories. You can participate in several ways:

  • Become a Member: Represent FSA and tell your stories alongside the featured tellers.
  • Tall Tale’s Liar’s Contest: Compete by telling a five-minute tale where bending the truth is the goal.
  • Story Swaps: Share your story in a 5-7 minute session with other guests.
  • Story Slam Competition: The finale event lets participants tell a five-minute story based on a given theme. Cash prizes are awarded!
